Since the year 1979, when the Shri Nav Jyoti Durga Utsav Mandal was formed, the management of the Shri Nav Jyoti Durga Utsav Mandal and regulation of the Navratri has been vested in the Board. The Board has undertaken a number of developmental activities aimed at making the Navratri a comfortable and satisfying experience for the Bhakats.
